Editorial : About the Author Jason Tandon was born in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1975. He is the author of GIVE OVER THE HECKLER AND EVERYONE GETS HURT, winner of the 2006 St. Lawrence Book Award for a first collection (Dzanc/Black Lawrence), WEE HOUR MARTYRDOM (sunnyoutside, 2008), and QUALITY OF LIFE (Dzanc/Black Lawrence, 2013). He is also the author of two chapbooks, Rumble Strip (also from sunnyoutside) and Flight, both of which were nominated for the 2008 Massachusetts Book Award. His poems were twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2007 and have appeared in many journals, including New York Quarterly, Notre Dame Review, Columbia Poetry Review, The Laurel Review, Poetry International, Poet Lore, and Fugue. He holds a BA and MA in English from Middlebury College and an MFA from the University of New Hampshire, where he taught writing and literature, served as an intern poetry editor at the Paris Review

Woven into Frannie’s life are the topics of family relationships, economic status, homophobia and racism – poignant topics for today. The therapeutic role of dance is also given emphasis by the author, with a few real examples discussed. It will all end in tears but so far has made my son very happy.. I am currently completing my Ph.D. He states succinctly and with and educated presentation that there are two people involved in every violation of others. However, this coloring book has two pages of each picture so we both get a chance to color the same picture. Dealing with a aunt like Katrina and a man like Amirie made her fragile in a way but she also had her grandmother, her best friend G'leeyah and Andre to give her the strength she needed to overcome all the hardships she dealt with in life.Amirie is a man that no mother or father shouldn't even want to come into contact with their daughter. Prof. Nearly all of her stories are of her experiences as a hostess.
