This book is a sequel to Reliability Evaluation of Engineering Systems: Concepts and Techniques, written by the same authors and published by Pitman Books in January 1983. As a sequel, this book is intended to be considered and read as the second of two volumes rather than as a text that stands on its own. For this reason, readers who are not familiar with basic reliability modelling and evaluation should either first read the companion volume or, at least, read the two volumes side by side. Those who are already familiar with the basic concepts and only require an extension of their knowledge into the power system problem area should be able to understand the present text with little or no reference to the earlier work. The author has done a lot of other books about ancient civilazations and really knows his stuff. Darnel is nothing like his non committing father James, Darnel is a faithful BF looking to settle down and start a family. Yet, when I have finished marking it with a red pen, this book will have a special place on my book selves, right next to Mastering C Pointers by Robert Traister (first edition,1990) and Practical C Programming by Steve Oualline (revised first edition). My highest praise is that I have recommended this book to all my friends. Maybe next time . I love Kristi Holl's books. So far I have had a great experience in receiving books through amazon.. I liked Juline, although I must say I prefer Ranma 1/2 for martial arts manga. This is not a complicated adult coloring book. When I read his references to PLAYS as well, I was simply smitten. Also the word for word recitation of New Testament passages disguised as conversation between the characters seemed a little forced.
