Editorial : About the AuthorGeert De Kockere studied to become a teacher but instead became a professional journalist, working for the Flemish newspaper De Standaard (The Standard). Currently, he is the editor of Buitenbeen, a nature magazine for Flanders and the Netherlands. He has written many children’s books, including several collections of poems, and has won a variety of book prizes for his work. He lives in Kempen, Belgium.Tineke Van Hemeldonck studied graphic design, specializing in illustration, at Provinciale Hogeschool Limburg in Hasselt. She has done all kinds of graphic design work and has illustrated several children’s books. She currently resides in Bunsbeek, Belgium.

This book raises space encyclopedias to a new level. It filled in legal gaps about purchasing property or leaving it in wills, etc. Another wonderful book by Usborne! They consistently bring out great books, you can't go wrong with them. And there is finally consistency in a field with no consistency! A really integrated piece of work with all of the world's top malacologists coming together to put this on our bookshelves--it's on mine! If you ever need a dissertation or major thesis project just open practically any page of this book and the authors will tell you a plethora of research just waiting to be done. Finally, I think Lila is one of the greatest heroines I have ever encountered, I love her every step of the way. I purchased this book with a healthy dose of skepticism, worried that it would be another fad diet with very little evidence to back it up. Fast forward to 2014.
