Editorial : “As a developer of emerging leaders across the social purpose sector, I view Social Movements for Good as an instructive roadmap for understanding the practices and distinct elements that go into creating and maintaining sustainable social movements.  Mr. Feldmann’s revealing interviews with leaders from the different sectors supports his case for how a durable and resilient social movement can thrive and lift up its followers.  Add the overlay of how the influential millennial generation, a group Mr. Feldmann has studied extensively, supports social movements for good, it becomes quite apparent how these movement are becoming a more integral part of America’s growing for-purpose society. In addition to being a wonderful how-to book, Social Movements for Good provides the reader with inspiring antidotes that underscore the importance of social media and how it has revolutionized the way we organize change across sectors.”

Delivery was a little longbut, we live in rural America. The same blending carries over in the structure of the book. And if you are familiar with these demons, he makes you feel and KNOW that you are not alone.

One of the most fascinating aspects of Shattered Image, is that while it tells a very painful story, it does so in a way where you find yourself chuckling at times. By its sheer size, Sears will hang around for a little longer. It is even more engrossing and emotionally compelling. It doesn't matter how long it takes, never stop fighting, never stop believing in yourself. But, if you're an Ed Wood fan, its a must-read. Saving not just old-growth forests, but old-growth ecosystems, should be a top priority for a true citizen.
