He taught at Lehigh University and Worchester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) before joining the faculty of the University of Connecticut where he held the position of Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department and taught for twenty-six years. In 1991 Russ received the Outstanding Civil Engineer Award from the Connecticut Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Born in France and educated in France and Switzerland, Ferd held an M.S. degree from the Sorbonne and an Sc.D. degree in theoretical mechanics from the University of Geneva. I will briefly summarize these chapters to give an overview of their content. "Digital Age Marketing" is a comprehensive resource that can be used effectively by entrepreneurs to develop a flexible marketing plan that can be easily adapted to meet the challenges in today's dynamic technology environment. I love him and this is an interesting storyline. The beginning of the story is kind of plodding, though I am pleased I did make myself continue on through as it picks up nicely later on.
Overall, it's a fun read, though not one of the most polished stories ever. They'd rather stay in the "prison of one culture" and sing their songs of democracy, even if the reality in their own democracy is full of nastiness, and their democracy promotion abroad is full of failures.. Fortini-Campbell's insights came before the dot.com revolution and they have even greater application with the marekting evolution that has come with the web and permission marketing.
